In short
- Your camera image is processed only on your phone; it is never recorded and never sent anywhere.
- Your profile, workout history and settings are stored on your phone.
- Creating an account is optional. If you do, a backup of this information is stored in the cloud.
- There are no ads, analytics or trackers. We do not sell or share your data.
- You can download or delete your data at any time.

Camera image
Formigo uses the camera to count your reps and assess your form. The image is processed in real time by an AI model on your phone: body landmarks are extracted, and counting and form tips are calculated from them.
No image or video is recorded, stored, or sent to our servers or anywhere else. The camera turns on only when you start a workout and turns off when it ends.
Information stored on your phone
The app stores the following only on your device (in the browser or app storage):
- Your answers from the welcome screens: your goal, height, weight, body type, level, how many days and minutes a week you want to train, where you train and what equipment you have.
- Your workout history: moves, reps and sets, durations, form scores, and walks/runs you add yourself.
- Your program progress and app settings (language, coach voice, camera preferences, move thresholds).
Height and weight are used only to tailor your plan (for example, to leave out jumping moves that load your joints). If you do not create an account, this information never leaves your phone.
Account and cloud backup (optional)
If you create an account, you sign in with your email address and a password. We cannot see your password; the sign-in service stores it in hashed form.
While you have an account, the phone data listed above (profile, history, progress, settings) is backed up and synced between your devices, so nothing is lost when you change phones.
Your account and backup are stored on the servers of our provider Supabase in the European Union. By creating an account you agree to this information being stored on these servers. When you delete your account, your account and all your cloud data are permanently deleted.
Third parties
Formigo uses no advertising, analytics, tracking or social media tools. The app connects only to these services in order to work:
- Web hosting (ChatGPT Sites / Cloudflare): serves the promotional website and web app files. Your IP address and browser details may be processed for server security and service operation.
- Pose detection model (Google): the AI model file is downloaded once from Google's servers on first launch. Only standard connection details (such as your IP address) are visible in this download; no image or personal information is sent.
- Account service (Supabase): only if you create an account, as described above.
Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We do not share or sell your data to anyone else.
Why your data is processed
- Core features (counting, form feedback, personal plan): performance of our agreement with you.
- Account and cloud backup: your request and consent.
- Security and abuse prevention: legitimate interest.
How long it is kept
Data on your phone stays there until you delete it or remove the app. Cloud data is kept while your account is open and deleted immediately when you delete your account.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Article 11) you have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, receive a copy, object to its processing, and withdraw your consent.
You can do most of this yourself in the app: download your data or delete the data on this device under Settings → About, and delete your account and cloud data under Settings → Account. For anything else, write to us; we reply within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Children
Formigo is not intended for people under 16 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Security
All connections to servers are encrypted (HTTPS). In the cloud, each user can access only their own data.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will change the date above and announce important changes in the app.
